Yarra Valley Grammar students have been working diligently to prepare for the Victorian School Music Festival held last term.
Their hard work and commitment paid off, as evidenced by the outstanding results achieved at this prestigious event.
The highlight of the festival for the school was its Symphonic Band, who claimed a Platinum award for the second consecutive year.
This accolade represents the highest achievement possible at the festival, showcasing the band’s exceptional talent and dedication.
In addition to the Symphonic Band’s success, the Symphony Orchestra and the Concert Band received Gold Awards for their performances.
“These accolades reflect our student musician’s hard work and perseverance, who invested countless hours in rehearsals and practice sessions,” the school said.
It said each ensemble brought its unique style and interpretation to the stage, creating a rich tapestry of sound resonating with both spectators and judges alike.
“Overall, the achievements at the Victorian School Music Festival highlight our student’s exceptional skill and dedication in the Yarra Valley Grammar music program.”
