Trinity Grammar School’s commitment to holistic education is reflected in the recent achievements of its Rugby and Touch Football athletes, whose representative honours span from national schoolboy selections to Alumni success on the international stage.
Among the standout moments was Old Boy Tane Edmed’s continued rise in professional Rugby, earning another cap for the Wallabies in the Bledisloe Cup. His journey from Trinity student to national representative serves as a powerful example of the pathways available to young athletes nurtured within a supportive school environment.
Closer to home, current students Will T and Brock P proudly donned the Australian Schoolboys jersey, starting in all three matches against Fiji Schoolboys and the Australian U18 team. Will crossed the try line in two of the games, showcasing his attacking flair, while both players demonstrated defensive discipline and a strong team-first ethos.

Their selection was made even more meaningful by the involvement of Trinity’s Director of Co-Curricular, Lachlan White, who served as Assistant Coach for the national side. “Both Brock and Will worked incredibly hard,” he reflected. “Their defensive understanding gave us confidence, and their attitude in camp was consistently upbeat and selfless.”
Mr White also acknowledged the layered support behind their development. “Trinity’s Rugby program offers coaching across all levels. Mr Michael Snowden played a key role in shaping these players, but credit also belongs to those who guided them from their earliest days in the Green jersey.”

Further representative honours came through the NSW Waratahs Under 15 squad, where Ethan M, Lucas V, Wesley M and Urijah B contributed to a tightly contested series against Queensland. Ethan and Urijah both scored tries in the second match, underscoring Trinity’s depth of talent in younger age groups.
Beyond Rugby, Logan T, a member of Trinity’s 1st XV, captained the NSWCIS team to victory in the Touch Football National Youth Championships. Named best player in the final, Logan led his team to a thrilling 7–6 win over Queensland, securing back-to-back titles. His year has been marked by multiple accolades, including selection for the Australian Emus and NSW State of Origin Men’s 20s, as well as a nomination for Junior Male Player of the Year by NSW Touch Football.
These achievements reflect Trinity Grammar School’s dedication to fostering character, resilience and excellence – on and off the field.
