At Assembly last Friday Sheldon College, were delighted to induct their Year 8 Middle College Leaders for 2017. The fifteen wonderful young ladies and gentlemen have been selected from a vast number of quality applicants from across the five classes of the Year 8 cohort. They were all required to complete a nomination form, endorsed by a College staff member and then prepare a brief speech to deliver to their Year 8 peers.
At the conclusion of these speeches, the Year 8 students were individually asked to provide the names of two students who they thought would ably lead the Middle College.
These votes were collated and taken to the Middle College teaching team. A short list was then sent through to Senior Executive for final approval. The fifteen wonderful role models are ready for whatever challenges and opportunities 2017 and the College’s 20 Year Celebrations may have in store.
