Roseville College, NSW, and the Board of Anglican Schools Corporation (ASC) this week announce the appointment of the school’s 10th Principal, Ms Deb Magill.
Ms Magill, who will take up the new role in January 2017, has indicated her aspiration to bring a contemporary vision to the role, saying that she believes the college is unique in its ability to nurture and empower each girl within its learning community.
Roseville College Council Chair, Mr David Minty, said that Ms Magill stood out among other candidates as an exceptional educator with the ability to empower both staff and students in the 1000-strong collegiate.
“Among her professional expertise and strong credentials, Ms Magill’s specialisation in learning enrichment will further strengthen the College’s reputation for caring for each student as she learns and grows in our strong Christian and highly encouraging school community,” Mr Minty said.
“Together with Ms Magill, we aim to continue delivering excellent education for girls in Kindergarten to Year 12 at Roseville College, in preparation for a bright future beyond school.”
Ms Magill has most recently served as the school’s Director of Learning and as a senior member of the college’s executive team.
With more than 20 years experience as an educator in a variety of environments, Ms Magill has worked with the ASC since 2004 and with Roseville College for the past six years.
